Position Type: Full-Time - Regular

Purposes The Vice President of Advancement is at the forefront of expanding the Colleges efforts to improve the lives of Church members throughout the world, as part of the Church Education Systems global initiative. This position oversees the Colleges Corporate Connect and Micro-course programs, as well as fund-raising efforts. The incumbent will report directly to the College President.

Responsibilities Creates, markets, delivers, and supports short-course training to members of the Church worldwide in order to increase their temporal self-reliance through enhanced employment; oversees a small team of professionals and students in the Corporate Connect and Micro-course programs; oversees significant expansion of short-course training development and delivery; pursues, creates, and develops long-term joint projects with Church entities such as Self-Reliance Services, the Welfare Department, and others; Develops and expands partnerships with industry associations and a wide variety of companies; provides student employees with real-world working experience to build their careers. Oversees and provides strategic direction for fund-raising efforts to accelerate the work of the College; creates the strategic vision, goals, and direction for philanthropic efforts; works with administrators, faculty, and staff to create the fund-raising plan; represents the College to major donors; coordinates specific efforts with LDS Philanthropies and serves as the Colleges liaison to that organization.

Qualifications:

Qualifications • A minimum of 10 years worth of experience managing teams and/or programs at the strategic level. • Demonstrable experience in program development, project management, and business to business relationship development. • A bachelors degree in business or closely related field; masters degree is preferable. • Proven ability to effectively manage, coach, and motivate others to achieve key business objectives. • Demonstrable experience in fund-raising and donor relations is desirable, but not required.

Worthiness Qualification Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
