Description:

Facilities Management Administration Office Assistant - 20 hours per week during fall/spring semesters; possibility of more hours during the summer.

Qualifications:

Skills:

  • Operate multi-line telephones, screened, or forwarded calls, provided information, took messages and scheduled appointments
  • Utilize excellent interpersonal skills by listening to and resolving customer complaints
  • Ability to prioritize for managing time to complete tasks and ensure proper workflow of office
  • Must have strong computer skills (Word and Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Schedule appointments and maintained and updated appointment calendars
  • Effectively manage emergency and stressful situations with the ability to remain calm
  • Collect, sort, distribute, prepare mail, messages, and courier deliveries
  • Skills in establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships by developing constructive and cooperative working relationships
  • Should be able to work during semester breaks and over the summer
  • Maintain cleanliness of office by organizing magazine, pamphlets and collecting trash
