Description:

THIS INTERNSHIP IS BASED AT USDA Forest Service, Dixie National Forest, Cedar City Ranger District:

Intern will assist Dixie National Forest Administrative Staff working at the front desk as an Information Receptionist trainee. Will become a Certified Collection Officer with the ability to sell Forest Products, greet visitors, hand out forest service information regarding camping and recreation, and organize maps and information. Will provide admin support to many resources in the office.

Qualifications:

Consideration will be given to applicants that have:

  1. Good Oral and Written Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  2. Proficient Computer Skills
  3. Quick Learn with Can-Do Attitude.

ALL IIC INTERNSHIPS MUST BE TIED TO AN ACADEMIC CREDIT such as: Departmental internships, EDGE, Practicums, UNIV-2890, Etc.
