ALL CREWS LOCATED IN CEDAR CITY ARE FILLED AND UNAVAILABLE FOR APPLICATION

Challenge yourself as a member of a 5-7 person crew while conducting career oriented work in relation to natural resources and outdoor recreation in some of the most beautiful places in the region. As a YCC Crew Member, you will be participating in a high school-aged crew with a college aged Crew Leader focused on re-vegetation, restoration, trails, recreation, facilities, fence and other related projects. Conservation crew work will be carried out in rugged outdoor environments exposed to the elements and is physically intensive, exciting and dynamic.

Start Date: May 30th 2017 End Date: August 10th, 2017

Summer Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 10 hour/day Holidays Off: July 3rd & 4th, July 24th

Qualifications:

YCC Crew Member Requirements 1. Attend and complete training week and campout with good standing. 2. Must be at least 16-18 years or older with a strong work ethic and maturity. 3. Outdoor and natural resource experience, positive attitude, flexibility and commitment. 4. Basic knowledge of tools, ability to lift 20 lbs. minimum, and able to hike long distances.

Position Responsibilities 1. Commitment to safety and completion of projects. 2. Work 10 hour days outside in a variety of weather and terrain. 3. Able to work independently and collaboratively as a team when needed. 4. Maintain professionalism throughout daily tasks.
