SDL Seeking Experienced Cost Analyst to Work on Programs of National Importance

The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is looking for an experienced cost analyst to develop proposal budgets, prepare detailed cost volumes, perform financial tracking, reporting, and forecasting for Government projects as well as internal accounts. Cost analysts are also responsible for developing and maintaining program schedules and updating internal project-related databases. Cost analysts work closely with program managers and engineering teams in a rewarding, team-oriented environment. This position provides room for upward and lateral mobility. Pay is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field

· Flexible schedule to accommodate a deadline-driven workload

· General accounting skills and up-to-date computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel

· Detail oriented and proactive

· Possess superior organizational and interpersonal skills

· Ability to communicate clearly with personnel of varying technical and professional levels

· Must have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance

· Must be a US citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

· Two years of relevant business-related experience

· Proposal or cost estimating experience

· MS Access, MS Project, and MS PowerPoint
