JOB DESCRIPTION:
Experience with implementing standards based curriculum and data driven instruction.
Demonstrates success in teaching students to read, write and do mathematics.
Demonstrates successes in assisting English Language Learners to develop English oral proficiency and proficiency in reading, writing and math.
Demonstrates commitment to continuous professional learning and the problem solving process.
Demonstrates success in working collaboratively with other professional staff on instructional improvement issues.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of best practices in literacy instruction.
Knowledge of Math in Focus curriculum or similar program.
* Knowledge of PBIS and RtI.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Must hold or be eligible to hold a Colorado Teaching Certificate
Bachelor's degree or higher required from an accredited university or college
Completed a state approved Teacher Preparation Program
Demonstrate a subject matter competency by one of the following means:
Hold at least a Bachelor's degree in the subject to be taught
Passes the PLACE or Praxis in the subject to be taught
Completed 24 hours of coursework or professional development in the subject
area to be taught
