Dennis Group is currently seeking Administrative Project Managers (APM).

Position Summary, Essential Functions and Candidate Attributes

The APM is in integral part of our project management teams. This individual will play a key role in all phases of project administration including project accounting, budgeting, bidding, contract administration, procurement, reporting, scheduling, vendor management, and close-out. A successful candidate will be an organized, professional, self-motivated, and energetic individual with excellent communication and inter-personal skills. The professional will be a member of our Administrative Project Manager team and his/her responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: • Project accounting, budgeting and cost management • Preparation and administration of project bid packages • Preparation and administration of vendor and subcontractor agreements • Procurement of project services and equipment • Preparation and maintenance of project reporting • Project close-out • Assist with project scheduling and permit preparation • Support client and vendor communications

Qualifications:

Required Education, Skills and Experience • Bachelor degree • Proficiency in MS Office suite • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Strong attention to detail • Familiarity with MS Project, as well as Viewpoint or Timberline is a plus

Positions being offered are both office based and construction site based, the latter of which requires extended travel commitments. Applicants should state their travel preferences when applying for the position. All new hires, regardless of where the position is based, should expect to spend some time in both the office and the field during their first 18 months for training and development purposes.
