Description:
Zions Bancorporation is currently accepting resumes for an HR Generalist, reporting to the Human Resources Manager. As a member of the HR team, the Generalist will partner with the HR team to provide support to human resources initiatives including compensation planning, resource tracking, reporting, administration of procedures and employee programs. In addition, the Generalist will provide direct and indirect support to client groups including Operations, Technology and Corporate areas.
The HR Generalist responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following items listed below.
Requirements:
Provide analytical and process support to the HR team including report creation, analysis, distribution and collection.
Oversee team responsibilities for reporting, resource tracking and compensation and performance management related projects.
Participate in performance management program as a key contributor with front-line leaders and internal partners.
Establish strategic and routine relationships with internal partners including Employment Practices, HRIS, Payroll, Recruiting, Compensation and Learning & Development.
Supports general HR programs and initiatives including training, employment law compliance, talent development, employee relations, and performance management, etc.
Provide consultation and advice and recommendations to leaders on a variety of operational and strategic HR matters.
Promotes effective human resources practices to minimize potential liability and risks and promote a positive environment.
Provides assistance to the HR Manager, management and employees to prevent and mediate conflicts, discipline and terminations.
Assist in investigation resolution.
Adheres to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality on matters that require discretion.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience required.
2-3 years of directly related experience in a Human Resources role.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with reporting, Excel, analytics and HR fundamentals.
Must have presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexible, collaborator with the ability to adjust to changing priorities.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to influence others and build strong relationships.
Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity and creativity to changing needs and situation.
Experience preferred in ADP HRIS, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, Business Objects, and SharePoint.
