We currently own and operate 14 radio stations in Seattle, Phoenix, Denver and Salt Lake City, along with the NBC Affiliate TV station, KSL TV 5, in Salt Lake. Position: We are seeking a Sales Assistant who will provide support to the Sales Managers and Account Executives (AEs) for our radio stations by managing the post-sale administrative work in an accurate and timely manner. The Sales Assistant will contribute meaningfully to the ability of the sales team to maximize selling opportunities and fulfill client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage post-sale administrative support for station AEs with emphasis on accurate order entry and order renewal
Enter sales orders accurately into sales systems
Maintain order information as needed to provide background and support to AEs
Provide support on sales campaign research, reports and recaps
Build and maintain a relationship of trust with AEs through accurate order entry and consistent support
Provide support on client events, budget updates, station features, and other station needs
Assist as needed with entry and tracking in promotions and sales campaigns software

Qualifications:

Required skills and experience:

Degree in business, communications, sales, basic accounting, finance, or related field preferred
High proficiency with Microsoft Excel software
Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail, efficiency, and accuracy
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to provide needed support to AEs
Ability to work with moderate supervision, confidential information, and be a self-starter
Capable and willing to resolve unexpected problems and be flexible to perform unscheduled assignments
High level of proficiency with computers, software, and new technologies
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
Assumes responsibility and accountability
Prefer two (2) years of experience within sales or customer service
Previous experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software a plus

Physical Demands:

Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively
Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination
Lift, move, and carry up to 20 pounds on occasion
