Description:

George Washington Academy is hiring a Part-Time (Hourly) Art Teacher for the upcoming 2017-18 school year. The part-time Art Teacher position coordinates with the other Specialty Teachers (Art and Music) to provide a comprehensive and cohesive sequence of Art to GWA’s students through the Core Knowledge curriculum. The Art teacher will be teaching classes for Kindergarten- 2nd grade.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required, certified teacher preferred. Applicants should also be aware of our school’s mission and philosophy and have a basic knowledge of the curriculums we use to support our high academics.
