Description:
Are you the type of person that could spend 1-2 months (even w/out pay) on a project with enough excitement about the content? Do you care about issues related to Utah and want to use your writing skills to reach people about issues? Do you enjoy working with data / are you willing to learn about data? If you answered yes, then please apply!

Skills and Competencies:
We are looking for Communications and possibly Economics majors because we're looking for those who have experience and demonstrated writing abilities (not just academic-style writing)
The ideal candidate is:
- Comfortable working with data, databases, and analysis in whatever platform you prefer (e.g. Excel, R, Python, etc). You don’t need to be a wizard or anything, but if you don’t know what a CSV is or don’t know how to take the sum of a column in Excel, you probably won’t be prepared for this internship
- Has a desire to learn about data tools and analysis and to share your knowledge about writing
Knowledge of JavaScript and/or D3.js is a huge plus, but not required.
