Position Summary:
Purpose:
Responsible for creation and ongoing management of customer, vendor and material master data within SAP as governed by internal processes, approvals and SOPs. Possess the skills to resolve any business process issues related to the creation or change to standard SAP Master Data.

Core Accountabilities
Essential Functions:
Coordinate Master Data entry into SAP, facilitating seamless information flow between functions through the company ERP system.
Create and maintain Customer Master Data in accordance with company policy to ensure a streamlined Order to Cash process including:
On Time In Full delivery execution
Accurate regulatory information to meet all legal requirements
Accurate financial reporting
Demand planning data
Appropriate terms and conditions
Create and maintain complex intercompany Dyno vendor and Dyno customer data that facilitates bi-directional goods movement between Dyno sites, including across international borders.
Create and maintain Vendor Master Data in accordance with company policy to ensure a streamlined Procure to Pay process including fraud and dollar loss prevention:
Verification with external government sources to assure that USA and Canada vendors are valid entities under the country’s taxing authority.
Apply appropriate terms and conditions that correspond to vendor contracts and Dyno policy.
Enforce documentation requirements to ensure bank direct deposit information is accurate.
Create and maintain specialized Dyno vendor accounts used by DNTI to interface between SAP and the DNTI finance software that operates outside of SAP.
Create background linkage for plant alternative data so that payments are not directed to the wrong vendor.
Specialized setup to support correct payments to complex vendors with multiple locations nationally or internationally
Create and maintain Material Master Data in accordance with the company policy.
Create and extend new materials.
Ensure that all Regulatory requirements are met.
Ensure the efficient execution of MPS/MRP through accurate material extensions, maintenance of MRP parameters and material deletions procedures.
Create and Maintain Bill of Materials, including production versions, cost collectors and inventory backflush procedures.
Maintain a specialized data process that creates export packaging Master Data allowing bulk packaging for Dyno International shipments.
Set up and maintain source lists and info records that delineate the parameters for goods movement across the entire Dyno supply chain.
Assist with developing, establishing and sustaining company SAP practices and governance including approval processes, data integrity management and reporting
Plan workflow processes specific to SAP master data in order to meet team expectations and business objectives.
Assist in coordinating SAP knowledge transfer initiatives as assigned.
Provide SAP Master Data technical expertise to the business.
Drive internal and external customer satisfaction through accurate and timely SAP data management.
Respond to business requests professionally and in a timely manner as outlined in the Master Data SLA.
Work directly with end users across all functions to resolve data conflicts that result in errors or incorrect information within SAP.
Develop user friendly forms and templates to expedite the flow of accurate information into SAP.
Support user development through training on forms, SAP functionality and SAP reporting.
Drive continuous improvement of internal processes, data integrity and SAP functionality to support company and customer objectives.
Define and utilize Mass Load, Mass Change, LSMW Console and macro enabled Smart Forms in order to streamline data entry into SAP.
Develop and sustain data accuracy reporting using SAP tools and external databases to support BEX.
IBP Reporting and data management:
Run and distribute IBP reports including Past Due Open Orders, Open Order Report, Deliveries, OTIF, Preferred Ship Sites, and PRB deliveries, troubleshooting as necessary to ensure accurate information.
Update and maintain a Master Data QC database including analyzing and correcting the QC queries as needed
Develop and implement data management processes with Demand Planning to ensure accuracy of information between SAP and i2.
Decision Making Authority:
Make decisions of a moderate to high complexity. Present issues to management with clarity and supporting data.
Manages their own workload with minimal supervision.
Major Challenges:
Ability to organize, prioritize and be flexible on several projects simultaneously.
Implement policies, practices and controls that ensure alignment with Dyno Nobel Critical Success Factor.

Qualifications:
Technical Competencies
Education: Minimum, Associate Degree in Business or IS/IT studies.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in related industry and business experience with progressively increasing responsibility, logistical functions and/or inventory management, procurement, credit/cash and accounts payable knowledge, activities preferred
Technical: Experience with logistical aspects of SAP or experience with similar business software applications preferred.
Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite. High level expertise with Excel and Access preferred.
