Description:

JCPenney is proud to offer a fast track to your career in corporate accounting and finance. The Accounting and Finance Management Development Program (AFMDP) is a 12 month robust development program in which you will gain exposure to senior management of a fortune 500 company, including the Controller/Chief Accountant.

You will also be invited to attend management level training in corporate accounting functions, project management, financial/data analysis, team management, and executive presentation skills to help guide you throughout your career. A senior management mentor is assigned to each candidate to provide coaching around assigned business projects.

The AFMDP program (beginning May 2018) will allow you to join the JCPenney finance management team while you finish your degree (part or full time) or once you’ve graduated with your degree (full time).

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates can transition into possible roles such as Accounting Analyst, Staff Accountant, or Internal Auditor for JCPenney.

Management Experience Offerings: - Exposure to multiple finance areas (GL, Inventory Management, AP, Payroll, AR, Credit, Banking) - Live business projects with management support and oversight - Frequent feedback and coaching - Senior management mentoring - Management level compensation - Career progression available within Controllers, Internal Audit, FP&A, Store Ops, and Supply Chain (in Salt Lake City, UT, Dallas, TX, and nationwide)
