Description:

Morrison-Maierle, Inc. has an exciting opportunity in our Sheridan, Wyoming office for an entry to mid-level Civil Engineer.

This position will be working under the direction of project managers to provide design support for civil engineering projects. Depending on experience, tasks may include performing design calculations, project planning, development, and design; funding procurement; preparation of technical reports; preparation of construction plans and specifications; construction inspection and/or administration; site visits; and public presentations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology or equivalent. Entry Level: 0 to 4 years of experience. Engineer Intern certification, or ability to obtain one within 6 months. Mid-Level: Minimum of 4 years’ experience. A professional engineering (PE) license is preferred. Value added skills or certifications could include: • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D • Site design experience • Construction background or construction inspection experience • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Word.

High level of personal responsibility and accountability. Interpersonal skills to meet and communicate effectively with employees, managers, and clients. Positive attitude and professional bearing. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have a valid driver license and insurable driving record.
