Description:

Intern will assist the Honors Program with all elements associated with recruiting the 2018-19 freshmen class including, but not limited, to:

  • Creating marketing material.
  • Updating the program website.
  • Scheduling high school visits.
  • Representing the Honors Program at all recruiting events.
  • Coordinating with the Welcome Center for campus tours/recruiting events.
  • Communicating with all prospective students.
  • Updating and maintaining student data.
  • Planning and implementing an Honors freshmen orientation during the summer of 2018.

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must be enrolled in one of SUU's Master Degree programs, part or full time is acceptable.
  • Applicant must have exceptional communication skills, both in writing and in speaking.
  • Applicant must be willing to travel as part of this internship.
  • Applicant must have a demonstrated ability to stay organized and complete tasks on time.
  • Applicant must be proficient in common computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Adobe programs, Gmail and Google applications, and graphic design programs.
