WHAT YOU'LL DO!
As a QUALITY LAB TECHNICIAN you will ensure the quality, integrity, and safety of products for consumers by conducting chemical, statistical and microbiological testing and analysis and completing quality inspections on critical processes, incoming materials and finished goods to verify they conform to our pre-established standards. You will also work together with your team members both on and off your shift to find ways to solve problems and make improvements in the process.
Here's what you'll need to be considered for this position:
• Associate's Degree in a scientific discipline (chemistry, biology preferred). A Bachelor's Degree is highly desired.
• ASQ certification or equivalent is highly desired
• Prior laboratory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of all laboratory instrumentation, principles of operation, and calibration in the performance of materials and product testing.
• Demonstrated skills in communication of quality methodology and problem solving.
• Must be able to do math computations, calculations, and statistical analysis.
• Proficient in the use of personal computers and systems, including the Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to quickly learn and use facility specific systems and databases.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
You will work day shift, Sunday through Wednesday.
