Description:

Responsibilities of the HR Generalist:

Assists in implementation of human resources programs and policies Provides support to leaders and HR Business Partners in the implementation of operational projects Provides support in recurring annual activities such as salary review, talent review, and performance management Advises on human resource policies and procedures, employee relations, performance and labor and regulatory issues Provides coaching to leaders as needed to support effective work place relationships and increase skill level in employee management Develops skills and provide advice, support and coaching in the use of human resources systems (i.e., remuneration/benefits, performance management) Responsible for conducting investigation into breaches of policy and procedure Leads special projects and other initiatives (i.e., employee engagement, performance and capability improvement, attractions and retention initiatives) Identifies ways to improve HR processes

Qualifications:

Requirements of the HR Generalist:

6+ years previous HR Generalist experience Experience with HRIS Systems Strong MS Office skills, with emphasis on Excel Degree preferred, but not required Familiarity with employee relations, onboarding and compensation recommendations Professional demeanor Excellent written and verbal communication skills
