Description:

Planetarium assistant will present planetarium shows at K-12 schools in southern Utah.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds a short distance.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and complete the required online driver training to utilize SUU fleet operations vehicles.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be able and willing to work with young children and adults.
  • Must have passed PHYS 1040 or PHYS 2210 with a "B" grade or better.
  • Must have a knowledge of astronomy and space science.
