Description:

The Creative Content Assistant will collaborate on communication pieces to promote the Utah Shakespeare Festival. This assistant will be responsible for primarily written content such as blog posts, feature stories, press releases, social media posts, storyboards, etc.

The Creative Content Assistant will:

  1. Collaborate on content ideas with the communications and marketing team at the Utah Shakespeare Festival.
  2. Generate written content in the form of blog posts, feature stories, press releases, social media posts, artist interviews, and other.
  3. Work through the revision process with the communications and marketing team and be responsible for proofreading and editing materials.
  4. Graphic, audio, and video projects may be assigned based on the background and experience of the employee.

Qualifications:

  • Good written communication, editing, proofreading, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Graphic design and audio or video editing knowledge is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and general computer skills are required.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with attention to detail is required.
