Description:

Organizes, plans and directs procedural and administrative matters of ongoing projects and programs in the Department of Pediatrics. Works closely with Department leadership to develop and implement program goals and objectives; manages project timelines and tracks progress; provides strategic guidance and collaborates with teams and committees to ensure goals and objectives are met.

WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Oversees procedural and administrative matters of ongoing projects and programs. • Works closely with teams and project leads to gather and coordinate information. • Addresses issues and questions related to projects. • Collaborates with teams and committees to identify risk, including operational, clinical, etc; identifies affected team(s); communicates risks to teams and Department leadership. • Helps assess related training needs and coordinates training programs to meet those needs. • Manages communication schedules for solutions teams. Manages timelines; sets expectations and communicates delays. Communicates scope and identifies scope creep. • Identifies key stakeholders on projects. Communicates information on various projects to stakeholders. • Attends solution team subgroups and coordinates analyst needs. • Provides ongoing project management support for solutions teams and other committees: manages project timelines and tracks project milestones; ensures project teams are working towards deliverables and goals; supports project teams in defining action items, analyses, workflows, etc.; identifies barriers, resources, and support needs; undertakes assigned project action items.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus two years of related experience or equivalency. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required.

PREFERENCES: Project management experience.
