Description:
Seeking a par-time intern to help Rocky Mountain Power capitalize on opportunities in our changing industry. The successful candidate will be an intellectually curious and highly motivated student with an interest in the energy industry who possesses excellent quantitative skills, computer skills, and written and verbal communication skills. Qualified candidates will be undergraduate juniors, rising seniors or seniors, or graduate students focused on the fields of finance, mathematics, economics, statistics or a related area.
Qualifications:
Seeking an intern currently in Finance, Economics, Statistics or a related field of study.
•Outstanding academic achievement with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or greater.
•Experience using MS Office – with specific expertise in Excel.
•Demonstrated ability to communicate proficiently both verbally and in written form.
•Ability to work independently after given detailed direction.
•Ability to prepare clear and concise deliverables that document results, risks, methods, and key assumptions, and to present recommendations supported by results.
Preferences:
In addition, consideration will be given to candidates with prior experience in the energy field via coursework or work/internship experience, as well as candidates with the ability to work in a team environment with a strong ability to think independently and facilitate cooperation
