Description:
There is an immediate need for a Revenue Specialist to start in the corporate offices of a thriving manufacturer within the food industry! The company is committed to an ambitious future for those who deliver results by empowering and developing people. This position in general involves collecting invoices, processing claims accurately, and resolving deductions and collections for customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, is customer centric, and has strong communication skills. This is a fast-paced environment so the candidate must be able to work in a high volume environment.
Responsibilities of the Revenue Specialist:
Establish positive relationships
Meet designated goals and objectives
Resolve customer issues using collection and deduction resolution to improve working capital and free cash flow
Validate accuracy of trade deductions to approved plans
Accurately process transactions though SAP and other financial systems
Resolve customer disputes
Change customer behavior to improve payment patterns by formulating and implementing strategies
Deliver excellent customer service to all partners
Get involved when process improvement opportunities arise
Ensure internal control and integrity over the revenue processes.
Ensure that transactions are recorded with accuracy and consistency
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Qualifications of the Revenue Specialist:
Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years of related work experience
Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Accounts receivable and collections experience preferred
Must possess strong analytical and organizational skills
Encourages cross functional collaboration and effectiveness
SAP experience preferred
