Description
The HRIS Specialist is responsible for maintaining, identifying and researching functionality within the company’s HR applications, as well as, participating in system related projects and initiatives within HR. The position supports leadership in all HR business areas, including HR, compliance, recruiting, onboarding and training.
Level two support for HR Systems issues related to the PeopleSoft HR system, including applicant inquiries
Centrally create and maintain Hourly job requisition structure for the field
Conduct system testing and coordinate user acceptance testing for all changes within the PeopleSoft system
Identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities. Use effective approaches for choosing appropriate action or resolution
Continually assess business needs and identify areas where process improvements will ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded by enhancing system capability and performance
Support and assist other specialists
Possess a passion for data integrity, accuracy and attention to detail

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
2-3 years HR Systems experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree. Equivalent experience is acceptable in lieu of degree(s).
Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to evaluate requests and provide accurate information based on the evaluation.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated understanding of HR technology and tools.
Knowledge of PeopleSoft HR including position management, preferred
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results against clearly defined deadlines is required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Advanced Excel) is required.
