Description:

The USU Research Foundation is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for a large international conference, the Small Satellite Conference. Major duties include catering coordination, facilities management, organizing side meetings, parking, and security, and scheduling. This position is part time and requires 20 hrs/week with a flexible schedule. During the summer, hours will likely increase. Expect to work full time and overtime hours during the conference in August.

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) Attention to detail Excellent problem solving and forecasting skills High-level people skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to negotiate tense situations in a pressurized environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree Previous experience with event planning AA/EOE
