Description:
The USU Research Foundation is seeking a part-time Quality Assurance Specialist. The selected candidate will work under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager and perform and support the activities associated with several of the organization's ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System (QMS) processes. These processes include, but are not limited to:
Assist with the Control of Documented Information process by processing version-controlled documents in the Document Control system.
Assist with the Control of Documented Information process by conducting quarterly checks of the documented information associated with each QMS process.
Assist with the Customer Satisfaction process by processing customer feedback items to create records and slides for management review.
Assist with the Improvement Initiatives process by helping to keep the Improvements Log current.
Assist with the Internal Audits process by conducting internal audits of our QMS processes.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Two years of experience in the Quality Assurance field
Knowledge of the ISO 9001 International Quality Standard
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong collaboration and problem solving skills
Must be a US citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
Aerospace industry experience
Database/information systems knowledge/experience
