The primary responsibility of the Business Systems Analyst will be to work with business users, management and the technical team to understand and document the business needs & requirements for small to large projects. The Business Systems Analyst will work closely with the Project Manager on large projects, or may be required to act as the Project Manager on smaller projects. The position requires excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. This position will work closely with the Business Intelligence team.

Qualifications:

• Must be a motivated, highly productive individual who is business oriented and can build relationships, as well as articulate concepts and process to solve business problems. • Must be able to identify, analyze, gather and translate business needs into requirements & technical specifications. • Use diplomacy and negotiation skills to gain consensus and approval on requirements. • Ability to remain focused and objective while directing a group with contrasting ideas/needs towards a common solution. • Work closely with business users and management to determine organizational needs, systems and operations requirements, customer rollout requirements, legal/compliance implications, etc. • Interview all levels of users to determine reporting needs for various types of data including sales, performance, trend, demand etc. • Document and maintain reporting requirements and communicate them to development team. • Create supplementary project documentation which may include process diagram, project charter, test plan, lessons learned, issue impact summary, etc. • Create reports and dashboards for KPI management. • Consult with business to assist in their understanding and identification of opportunities to use technology to improve their business processes. • Work with multiple business areas to design process and information flows within and across functional areas. • Provide support to the project manager and other project staff. What You'll Bring: • Data analytics experience. • Understanding of database design & development concepts. • Experience with BI software. • Experience analyzing systems or data to find trends and behaviors. • Experience in developing and maintaining detailed business requirements and technical specifications. • Experience in creating & executing detailed test plans/cases. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization in a professional manner. Preferred: • Understanding of ETL methodologies. • Experience with prototyping, UML, and Use Case diagrams. • Experience with SQL. • Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). • Experience with vendor analysis and selection • Understanding of User Experience principles. • Salesforce Experience • Tableau Experience Education and Experience Requirements: • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field • 2+ years experience as BSA, BA, SA, QA , Product Manager We are an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled We are an at-will employer
