Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Identify and contact human services agencies and transportation providers in Weber, Davis, Salt Lake, and Utah counties. Schedule and facilitate meetings with human services agencies and transportation providers and assess their transportation capabilities and activities. Assist in establishing positive and collaborative relationships with human services agencies and transportation providers. Assist in the application, award, and contracting processes for an FTA grant program. Other duties as assigned.
Junior level college student or above currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in Urban Planning, Social Sciences, Family/Consumer Studies, or equivalent. Must have attained a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Well-developed work organizational skills
Intermediate level proficiency in Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
Basic proficiency in Excel
Candidates for internships will be required to provide transcripts and 2 letters of recommendation, either from their educational institute or a combination educational institute/past or present employer. —OR— An equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience. (UTA reserves the right to determine the equivalencies of education and experience.)
