Bonneville International has been a leader in broadcasting for over 50 years, with a mission to build up, connect, inform and celebrate communities and families across our markets. We currently own and operate 14 radio stations in Seattle, Phoenix, Denver and Salt Lake City, along with the NBC Affiliate TV station, KSL TV 5, in Salt Lake. We're proud of our history, and we want talented people to join us as we continue to grow! We seek a dynamic individual to manage social media strategies & tactics for KSL-TV & KSL Newsradio. The successful candidate will lead efforts to engage with the community and advocate station brand through social media, stay current with newest channel-specific developments and best practices, publish daily and innovate regularly in the social media space. He/she will also coach and inspire individual members of the news and marketing teams, setting goals and expectations for excellence on individual pages. The Social Media Executive Producer will also develop cross-function synergies, maximizing audience flow & engagement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proven track record of effective leadership and social media strategy development in communications-related field 4+ years experience developing social media content and campaigns that drive audience engagement and audience flow Create and lead the development of engaging and viral content on a daily basis which consistently honors the company voice. Facilitate training for TV, Radio and Marketing team members, ensuring they remain current in best practices in an ever-changing social media landscape. Ability to quickly implement new strategic campaigns and expectations. Provide prompt feedback in order to foster a culture of learning and growth. Proven ability to lead and drive innovation in the social media space. Skilled in analyzing data to assess performance of all accounts, adjusting tactics continually to gain optimum response and engagement. Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation for journalism ethics and writing; ensure compliance with established digital and brand strategies as well as applicable standards and guidelines. Superior written and oral communication skills are essential, along with the ability to juggle multiple tasks on deadline and within a highly matrixed environment. Set an example of professionalism and leadership. Maintain a positive and cooperative rapport with staff, management, and clients. Work effectively in a team environment. Work in compliance with Company policies and procedures. Consistently works hours required. Work more when required to meet deadlines including weekends, holidays, evenings, breaking news, etc. Other duties as assigned.
College degree in journalism, communications, related field, or equivalent. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of the following preferred: Content Management Systems, ENPS, Photoshop, Web Analytics Platforms, Social Media Platforms. Ability to edit video content on Adobe Premiere preferred. Proven ability to handle stress.
Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively. Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination.
