Description:

The Southern Utah Museum of Art (SUMA) Family Art Night Series artsFUSION program is looking for a student instructor to teach visual art to families with young children. The program is held bi-monthly in the evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in SUMA Educational Classroom, for approximately 35 participants. Plan and present visual arts lessons inspired by themes selected by artsFUSION and SUMA’s education committee.

The Family Arts Night Series offers families an evening to visit the Southern Utah Museum of Art and participate in free creative activities in visual art, theatre, and dance. The program gives local parents, grandparents, and children the opportunity to create together.

Qualifications:

Must be able to work Mondays from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM day of the scheduled events. Must be responsible, punctual, and independent. Art education majors and elementary education majors with a visual art background should apply.
