Description:

Youth Mentors provide for the care, welfare, safety, and security of students. In addition, Youth Mentors are responsible to assist in resolving student behavior problems through nonviolent crisis intervention techniques. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide for the care, welfare, safety, and security of students Emergency medical care Emergency preparedness in time of disaster, fire safety Nonviolent crisis intervention Responsible to assist in the resolution of student behavior problems Transporting students as needed Over the counter medication documentation Cleaning activities Responsible for other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma/GED College degree in human services field preferred Background Screening Clearance Drug Screening TB Screening, mandatory Experience working with teenagers (Preferred) Prior residential treatment experience (Preferred)
