Description:

All L2 Team Leader Positions are required to meet to following expectations:

  1. Complete 40 hours a semester to receive $400 stipend, for a total of $800 a year.
  2. Attend weekly meetings to assist in conducting education, training, and planning meetings.
  3. Willing to present on health related topics when requested by various campus entities.
  4. Assist in fall and spring orientations for recruiting purposes.
  5. Complete or have completed the CPE (Certified Peer Education) training by the end of fall semester.

In addition to these expectations, each L2 Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the planning, organizing, and implementation of at least one wellness program a semester. This may include, but is not limited to staffing information tables, designing and distributing fliers, brochures, and other promotional material.

  • Dedicated, hardworking individuals who are enthusiastic in promoting healthy behaviors among their peers.
  • An open mind to culture and practices different from their own.
  • Ability to articulate the facts about healthy behaviors and dispel myths and misperceptions.
  • Dedicated to health education, health promotion, and the PHE program.
  • Demonstrate a sincere concern for others and their well-being.
  • Ability to speak publicly in a positive, engaging, interactive manner
  • Ability to function in a group, both as a leader and a supportive team member.
