Description:

Primary Purpose The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical support for Student Financial Services and Finance & Administration. This includes developing reports in the Argos reporting tool, managing BDM for Finance & Administration, development and maintenance of all modules in the TouchNet payment system. Other responsibilities include the design and maintenance of Finance & Administration websites, development and editing of presentation videos, software and hardware support for Finance & Administration, and customer service to faculty, staff, and students.

Key Responsibilities * Administrator in the TouchNet payment system with responsibility for technical support for all modules in TouchNet. Monitors PCI compliance and general security on cashiering stations.

  • Responsible for installing, supporting, troubleshooting, and training for all cashiering stations and mobile POS devices across the university.

  • Develops and maintains reports in the Argos reporting tool using SQL and SQL developer for Student Financial Services and Finance & Administration.

  • Maintains webpages and online forms for Student Financial Services.

  • Provide a high level of customer service to faculty, staff, and students. Assist students with questions and problems regarding payment of tuition and charges on the student account.

  • Develop and maintain custom student invoicing processes for foreign and domestic 3rd party agencies using SQL developer, MS Access, and MS Excel.

  • Support departmental staff with troubleshooting of the Banner Document Management System.

  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Fundamental understanding of operating systems, network, and internet security concepts.

Experienced web developer that is well versed with Java scripting, CSS, and Dreamweaver CS5.

Advanced understanding and use of MS Excel and MS Access. Working knowledge of the rest of the MS Office suite. Advanced understanding of SQL with the ability to write SQL queries.

Ability to work some nights and weekends.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with excellent relationship management skills.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds with reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications Three or more years of experience using the Ellucian Banner ERP system or other ERP systems.

One or more years of experience in Higher Education working in a Student Financial Services role.

Experience troubleshooting and providing technical support with computer hardware and software.
