CHG Healthcare is seeking a passionate and experienced Program Manager to lead highly visible enterprise-wide strategic programs. This role is responsible for overseeing program governance, managing project schedules, budget and resource planning, identifying risks, and providing visibility to the health of the program at the executive level. This position will have three primary areas of focus; 1. Act as a direct project manager for key enterprise projects. 2. Serve as a Program Manager for large initiatives. Organizing work across multiple product teams. 3. Work with business areas to promote understanding and practice of agile principles.

Qualifications:

  • Oversees and coordinates all work streams of a project or program

  • Accomplishes strategic objectives by overseeing multiple project activities

  • Runs complex projects/programs from initiation through production

  • Drives performance through effective use of influence and relationships

  • Cultivates relationships with stakeholders with the goal of ensuring transparency and visibility into projects and programs

  • Develops and implements strategies that will maximize the synergies among program areas

  • Directs and oversees project team(s) and manages conflicts for successful delivery within a matrix organization

  • Creates strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning. Drives resolution to project risk and mitigation tactics

  • Works with project sponsors at the Executive Level to provide visibility, updates, forecasting for the entire program

  • Tracks and analyzes program budgets to inform Executives Level on the health of the program. Forecast program budget and develop mitigation strategies to stay on budget

  • Plans and schedules overall program deliverables, goals, milestones

  • Efficiently identifies and solves program issues

  • Oversees project documentation

  • Implements and manages project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs

  • Discovers opportunities to champion agile values and adoption among our business areas

  • Develops agile training materials and leads agile training workshops

  • Facilitates cross functional coordination between Information Technology and business areas

  • Partners with senior leaders to ensure alignment with agile methodology

  • Other duties as assigned by management

What You'll Bring:

  • A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional projects

  • Proven ability to understand the business environment (business model, competitive landscape, processes, revenue/cost drivers, KPI's, etc.)

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering solutions and managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong project, program and portfolio management skills, managing complex, multifaceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth

  • Strong organizational, presentation, and persuasive skills

  • Experience engaging with C-level project sponsors

  • Strong leadership skills including: team-building, conflict resolution and management

  • Ability to handle uncertainty while continuing to drive assigned work with positive motivation and a can-do attitude

  • Builds trust among business partners and other IT professionals

  • Effective problem solving skills exhibited by effective collaboration among project team members to resolve issues and drive the project forward

  • Lean / Agile experience, preferably with exposure to large agile transformations

  • Highly proficient in agile practices and able to coach teams and programs at varying maturity levels

Education and Experience:

  • 4+ years Project/Program/Portfolio Management experience

  • College degree in technical area or business preferred

  • 2+ years' experience working in an agile environment

  • 4+ years related business/industry experience

  • Project/Program/Portfolio scheduling and budgeting experience

Preferred:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent preferred

  • CSM (Certified Scrum Master) Certification or equivalent preferred
