Description:

Purposes

This position enables DTAs and Managing Directors to focus on their most important work of bringing souls unto Christ by providing exceptional transaction services in a simple and affordable way.

Position performs the full range of processing clerk assignments including resolving all types of discrepancies some of which may require communicating with other offices outside of the unit. Maintains records, documents and files insuring their accuracy referring only the most complex issues are referred to higher levels for resolution. Serves as a role model in fulfilling the Churchs mission with compassion toward others and an attitude of devotion to God.

The candidate hired will work in a busy, multitasking, team environment, providing processing service and support for the HR information system that houses all employee records for the Churchs global workforce. This position requires the use of complex computer-based applications and other technology as well as analytical thinking and problem solving skills to resolve inquiries and complete critical transactions.

Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week. Salary will be determined at the time of hire based on experience, education, and skill.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities • Completes transactions to accurately setup, update, and close out employee master data records • Ensures complete confidentiality of sensitive HR records • Provides training and support for HR systems and tools • Responds to inquiries from employees, managers, and external third parties in a clear, concise, accurate and professional way • Resolves employee and manager concerns related to paycheck earnings, taxes, deductions, disbursement etc.

Qualifications • Associates degree with 3-4 years of experience or High School diploma with 5-7 years of experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Preference given to candidates with PeopleSoft experience. • Must be fluent in English (oral and written). Spanish is a plus. • Performs duties with minimum supervision, duties and assignments are non-routine. • Must have the ability to adapt policies and procedures to meet the more complex requirements of the position. • Must have the ability to learn new technologies quickly, to work well within a team to achieve results, to organize, prioritize and pay attention to detail, and to work well under pressure and time constraints. • Must be able to resolve employee and manager concerns related to paycheck earnings, taxes, deductions, disbursement etc. • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications • Must be reliable (demonstrate a good attendance history). • Must be able to ensure complete confidentiality of sensitive HR records • Must be able to work at a computer station for long periods of time.

Worthiness Qualification Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
