Description:

Complete daily non-gaming cash audits, fraud risk and exception audits, and record non-gaming revenue. Complete detailed transactional audits, as defined per company policy. Coach, mentor and help supervisor manage gaming revenue team. Team responsibility to meet gaming revenue audit Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to properties and other key stakeholders. Always strives to meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to maximize services provided.

Job Functions

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures. Review daily cash drop to system accountable cash by cashier. Track cashier variances and report variances and trends to property. Issue Internal Control Exception Reports (ICERs) for variances outside of company policy. Perform daily fraud risk and exception audits and report any unusual activity to supervisor. Create journal entries for daily revenue posting. Complete detailed transactional audits, as needed or defined per company policy. Examine documents for compliance with company internal controls. Reconcile non-gaming documentation to system activity, investigate variances, and prepare adjustments required to daily journal entry. Prepare Internal Control Exception Reports (ICERs) for non-compliance with internal controls. Compile and maintain documentation to support audit. Communicate problems or discrepancies to supervisor/management in a timely and efficient manner. Promote, develop and maintain effective communication, interaction, and excellent relationship with internal customers, including ensuring their requirements are identified and consistently met. To promote an effective relationship between the department, the operating property, other departments and to ensure effective operational processes. Perform all functions with the highest level of integrity. Observe and follow all safety procedures. Coach, mentor and help supervisor manage non-gaming revenue team. Assists supervisor in review of revenue audit staff work. Helps supervisor train new staff. Proficient in multiple non-gaming audit areas. Performs all other job related duties as requested.

Qualifications:

High School diploma, required. At least 1 year of casino gaming/audit experience and/or equivalent. Must have beginner level skills with Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook, basic office equipment, and 10-key. Ability to understand change management. Working knowledge of state specific regulatory requirements. Good written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate ability to resolve all situations in a professional manner. Excellent customer service skills. Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts. Have initiative, strive for continuous improvement. Strong team player that has a direct approach and is solution oriented. Professional appearance and demeanor. Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Able to effectively communicate and present in English, in both written and oral forms. Able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses. Ability to work independently, prioritize based on urgency and work through high volume and stressful time periods. Able to coach and mentor effectively. Extreme attention to detail.
