We are looking to fill our Quality Industrial Engineer position! As a member of our Quality Engineering team you will develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols to assess product and process quality reliability.

Our Expectations from You •Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place •Implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the quality and reliability of products, processes, and equipment •Design inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment •Conduct quality assurance tests •Determine the cost of and the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards •Read component and sub-assembly drawings, interpretations of geometric dimensioning, and tolerance notations •Audit quality systems for deficiency identification and correction •Organize and oversee maintenance of lab facilities, equipment, tools, and calibration system •Supervise subordinate staff •Design and fabricate lab test fixtures, test equipment, and tooling. •Conduct testing of product performance, quality, and reliability •Communicate test results, failure analysis results, and product information to suppliers •Perform product failure analysis •Drive product and process improvement •Perform dimensional layouts, measurement system analysis, and process capability studies •Direct cross functional team activities for quality improvement, Manufacturing Control Plan, and FMEA development •Assist other Engineering groups in Design reviews (DFMEAs), part drawing reviews, PPAP (Product Part Approval Process), and failure analysis •Assist all Quality Assurance and Quality Control inspection groups and functions •Conduct internal audits •Participate in and direct MRB, CLCA, and SCAR meetings and activities •Work in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications •Bachelor’s degree in technical/engineering field of study from an accredited university •Related experience; generally 0-2 years

Preferred Qualifications •Electrical Engineer or equivalent experience •ASQ Certified Quality Engineer •ISO 9001 Certified Internal Auditor Certification •Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
