Description:

Part-Time Internship: Assist with providing day-to-day technical support and guidance to local users

•Configure and setup network devices, access points, and telephones per Engineering guidance •Installation tasks including mounting hardware in data center facilities •Performing software upgrades on routers and switches as instructed •Telephone maintenance and troubleshooting tasks; move/add/replace at main Salt Lake office and neighboring facilities.

Qualifications:

Junior standing or higher in a technology or engineering related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

•Ability to interact favorably with project and work teams. •Strong problem solving skills, detail-oriented, quick learning skills. •Hands-on experience with Cisco Router/Switch configuration and wireless networks, LAN/WAN architecture, VoIP, firewall is a plus •Knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012, Active Directory would be a plus. •Knowledge of scripting/programming is a plus. •Communication and interpersonal skills involving the ability to work cross-functionally to understand requirements, present alternatives, and recommendations. •Proficient with the use of personal computers and automated tools
