Description:

We have 4 part-time positions open as an Imagination Facilitator and/or and Admissions Facilitator. Internal promotions are common. Come Play and Get Paid!

Maintain a safe, clean, nurturing, fun environment where children and caregivers can learn and play together.  Model positive creative and respectful ways to interact with children and their caregivers through play.  Facilitate exhibit-based activates that engage children and caregivers in the imagination, play, and learning experience.  Facilitate birthday parties, school groups, and special events.

Qualifications:  College experience preferred, but will consider individuals with a 9th grade education level with interest or experience in child care, theater, art, recreation, or communication.  Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, engage in physical activity with children, and escort children quickly in case of emergency.  Takes direction well with ability to work alone without fear of being enthusiastic, outgoing, energetic, and willing to play/clean/interact with museum visitors.  CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain  Ability to work weekday mornings and Sundays.
