Description:

Morrison-Maierle is recruiting to fill an entry level mechanical engineering position. Duties will include working under the direction of the Project Manager and Task Managers in the execution of project related duties.

Project Types: Education, Municipal, Healthcare, Airports, Government, Hospitality.

The position will work innovatively and collaboratively with the firm’s full service structural, electrical, and civil engineering disciplines including design, planning, scheduling, conducting and/or coordinating detailed phases of studies, investigations, and preparation of contract documents for HVAC and plumbing systems, energy studies/improvements, sustainable design elements and other components for buildings and facilities.

Tasks may also include site inspections and punch lists, email and inter-office memorandum, submittal review, and design and construction meetings with owner’s, architects, and contractors.

We are looking for individuals interested in being fully engaged in their work and making a difference in the communities they serve.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. 0 to 3 years’ experience. Engineer Intern certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Revit/BIM experience and LEED certification is a plus.

Strong work ethic. High level of personal responsibility and accountability. Interpersonal skills to interface effectively with employees and managers. Positive attitude and professional bearing. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Must have a valid driver license and insurable driving record.
