Description:
Deseret Digital Media seeks a controller to join our finance and accounting team.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the activities of the corporate accounting department for the accurate and timely dissemination of monthly financial management reports.
Manage daily and monthly accounting processes including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll.
Oversee the activities of the disbursement department, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, employee expense reports, payroll processing.
Establish and maintain systems and controls of all systems, processes and data.
Accumulate and analyze information for the preparation of financial statements, ledgers, and reports.
Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is required
CPA and/or Master's Degree in Accounting or Business preferred
5+ years of relevant experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools
Detail oriented with the ability to analyze large data sets while also summarizing results for executive level discussions
Must be able to work independently (with minimal supervision) to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects
Must have strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects
Must have strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
Excellent technical, oral, and written communication skills
