Description:

This is a Full Time positions with benefits including medical, dential, vision, and life insurances as well as a retirement plan through URS

Performs a variety of full performance professional psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment duties and makes professional recommendations impacting mental health services to individuals, groups or organizations. Provides psychological testing and diagnostic services to clients and non-clients for, and in behalf of, Wasatch Mental Health and other outside community agencies as needed. This may include occasional travel to agencies in Utah, Heber, Salt Lake and other counties with whom WMH has a contract (such as residential/inpatient treatment facilities).

Provides individual, couples, or family therapy as needed or desired; Provides supervision and training to clinical psychology interns as assigned.

Performs psychological testing including ADHD, Autism, psychosexual, parental fitness, psychological, and neuropsychological evaluations. Must be comfortable and competent evaluating clients of all ages (2 and up) with any range of psychological, developmental, or cognitive disorder. Examples include autism, brain injury, intellectual disability, psychotic disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, substance abuse, etc.

Receives referrals from all provider levels (caseworkers, MS and Ph.D. therapists, APRN, MD) for differential diagnosis and treatment recommendations for their clients; conducts clinical interview, administers tests, scoring test results, interprets and integrates results; provides relevant and empirically-supported treatment recommendations.

Conducts feedback sessions with clients and/or their families/caregivers; prepares and submits reports according to established timelines.

Participates in staff and peer review meetings;

Coordinates with supervisors regarding issues and problems that interfere with assignments, goals, treatment plans, and projects.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from approved college or university with a doctorate (Ph.D., Psy.D.) degree in psychology, educational psychology or a related field, plus recognition as a licensed psychologist. * Psychology Residents may be considered as an underfill applicant for this position.
