KSL Radio News Executive Producer (Full Time) #5199 Who we are: Bonneville International has been a leader in broadcasting for over 50 years, with a mission to build up, connect, inform and celebrate communities and families across our markets. We currently own and operate 14 radio stations in Seattle, Phoenix, Denver and Salt Lake City, along with the NBC Affiliate TV station, KSL TV 5, in Salt Lake. Position: Make desired individual contribution to KSL's team efforts to provide a news product that reflects the station's format philosophy and that will effectively serve the station's target audience and garner sufficient ratings to meet station's short and long term strategic goals. NOTE: This is a generic posting. Management assigns responsibilities on a regular and/or rotating basis depending upon company needs.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Able to quickly conceptualize stories for radio presentation and be able to write and produce 3p 7p drive time show utilizing material from all available sources. Proven ability for accuracy and follow-through. Willing to accept responsibility and work under moderate supervision while resolving varied problems, which require general knowledge of news market and company's policies and procedures. Able to work under pressure and effectively handle the stresses of the responsibilities of the position and assure news host and anchors receive accurate material for broadcast on time. Have an acceptable on-air presence and voice quality and be able to enunciate clearly and read copy fluently as required. Dependable and flexible enough to perform unscheduled assignments and work odd shifts as needed including weekends, holidays, overtime, etc. May require in-house audition writing and producing information for broadcast presentation. Ability to give, develop, receive and maintain effective written and oral communication with all staff members during the performance of assigned job responsibilities. Project desired company image with respect to dress and demeanor, and willingness to fully support company's mission and values. Possess excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal skills. Excellent knowledge of social media and demonstrated wise use. Willing to execute on digital as well as terrestrial platforms. College level education in journalism or related field of equivalent experience required. Two (2) years commercial broadcast journalism experience or equivalent.

Physical Demands: • Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively. • Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. • Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination. • Lift, move, and carry up to 20 pounds on occasion.
