Description:

Promontory Club is seeking a Youth Program Manager to oversee our Kids Cabin, property wide events and activities for our member’s children.  Promontory is a 7,000 acre luxury home community located in Park City, Utah. Our club programming and amenities include fitness, golf, equestrian, tennis, hiking, biking, skiing, summer camp, restaurants, and spa.

Job Overview The program manager will direct all activities and programs for youth ages 4 to 12. The manager will meet with other management to coordinate and develop property wide events that will meet the goal of children, youth and their families. Regular and assigned duties include but not limited to:  The ability to oversee all staff, training and implement positive staff communication  Organize and implement daily activities that meet the goal of the kids cabin  Have the ability to plan and develop programs and activities that focus on art, nature, outdoor recreation and development of the community  Participate directly with children and youth during activities when appropriate  Make sure that all policies and procedures are followed on a day to day basis  Maintain a positive atmosphere for both children, families and staff  Assist the sales staff and other departments in developing programs and events that will promote property sales  Interview and oversee all hiring as it pertains to the Kid’s Cabin  Make sure all paperwork and background checks are done in compliance with all Federal and State laws  Meet often with the Director Of Operations in developing and maintaining quality programming and activities  Be a positive role model for children, staff and their families  Demonstrate energy and creativity in order to participate in activities and events with children and their families  Conduct staff meetings  Maintain program documentation, budgets and goal setting for all staff and for the department  Follow through on all other assignments as directed by the club management  Work closely with other departments in providing the best possible service to members and their children  Attend Promontory wide events as directed by the management  Have an active role as to policy and program development

Qualifications:

Job Specifications Certifications:  A clear Criminal Background check report

 Obtain CPR/First Aid training and/or provide current certifications. Provide documentation Requirements:  Documentation of several years of experience working with children ages 4-12 years  Degree in Early Child development or Education  Experience and skills that demonstrate strong communication skills with children and adults  Ability to document program outcomes, budgets and expense reports  Ability to be self-directed and motivated  Able to direct staff in providing a positive work environment  Able to maintain and oversee all policies and procedures to insure safety and consistency
