Description:

The Administrative Assistant is a contracted position and will be responsible for regular upkeep of CCAC activities. Working under the direction of the President and Board of Directors, the Administrative Assistant will assist with membership drives, database records, grant writing, press releases and media information for events, and assistance in the coordination of annual events.

The Administrative Assistant is a part time hourly position that will require up to 5 to 10 hours per week averaged over the year. Some evening and weekend commitments will be needed for meetings or events. This position is highly flexible and the time commitment will vary throughout the year. The ability to work independently without supervision is essential.

Qualifications:

 Good organizational skills

 Works well independently.

 Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

 Strong written, verbal and presentational skills

 Ability to work under time pressures and meet deadlines
