Description:

The Utah State University Research Foundation/Space Dynamics Laboratory is seeking applicants for a Contracts Administrator. The selected candidate will be responsible for all phases of contract and grant administration, including review of solicitations, proposal preparation and review, contract negotiation, award administration, subcontract administration, and contract closeout.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field. Understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), NASA FAR Supplement, International Traffic In Arms Regulations (ITAR) and other related regulatory and statutory requirements. Working knowledge of CFR 200 – Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards. Expertise in contracts, business, and fiscal law. Eight years or more of experience in Federal government contracting and/or subcontract administration. Experience with preparing and reviewing project budgets and statements of work. Ability to professionally and effectively communicate and coordinate with a wide range of project sponsors, principal investigators, co-workers, and other stakeholders. Well-developed computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), web browsers, and Government/customer/internal databases. Sound time management skills and attention to detail. Ability to work flexible hours and travel on occasion. Self-motivated, proactive, hardworking, and solution oriented. Proven ability to work well independently and on a team. Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance; eligibility requirements include US citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with commercial contracting and large complex federal awards. Expertise with Federal Acquisition Policy analysis, development, and associated organization processes. An MBA, MS, MPA, JD or other related academic credential. CPM, CPA, CPCM, CFCM, CCCM, DAWIA Level III Certification or related professional credentials. Active TS Clearance.
