The Line Staff answers directly to the Shift leader and reports to the Program Director. ​​

Duties

S/he is responsible for supporting the program and its clients and ensuring the safety of the students. This includes but is not limited to:

Knowing the Moonridge Academy Program and Policies and Procedures Supervision of students: in close proximity and within eyesight at all times except private time, bathroom, changing clothes, etc. Constantly be in communication with team members to ensure that all students are safe and properly supervised Maintain secure situations at all times Support itineraries, agendas, and schedules Participate in special assignments, responsibilities, committees, and development groups Work and serve along side students. Provide ongoing support for students Monitor and record youth’s growth, development and behavior on a daily basis Attend all staff meeting and trainings Professionalism is maintained at all times for all duties Maintenance and general upkeep of the home, vehicle, and grounds Work with others on shift to create an atmosphere where the students can progress Support decisions made by the Shift Leader, Program Director, Clinical, etc.

Qualifications:

Experience working with adolescents, children and/or their families

Some college education and/or training to work with adolescents, children and/or their families

Physical ability to implement duties as described above

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form

Ability to complete all paperwork for employee file
