Description:

Officiate high school basketball throughout Southern Utah

Pay: $44-$59/game. New officials will start at the JV level ($44/game) and often work 2 games per night Mileage Reimbursement: Driver: $.46/mile for all miles over 50 Rider: $.11/mile for all miles over 50

November 7th at 5:30 a training will be held at the SUU PE Building in room 101 for all new officials. Any questions can be answered at the meeting.
It's a great part-time job. You set the times you're available to work. New officials are assigned a mentor. Game assignments are not guaranteed. Assignments are made based on availability and skill level.

Qualifications:

Become certified through the Utah High School Athletic Association by passing an open book test on basketball rules. Physically fit to keep up with pace of high school basketball games. Able to make quick decisions in challenging environments. Ability to control emotions in pressure filled situations.
