Description:
Southwest Behavioral Health Center has an opening for a Residential Tech in our Horizon House Residential Treatment Program in Cedar City. The program serves individuals with a substance use disorder, adults court ordered into treatment or other adults with substance use disorders who have no other treatment resources. The position has some scheduled hours and other varied hours working for other staff on leave, including swing shifts, weekends, evenings, and holidays. The position is part time, on call.
The qualifications for this position require providing awake client supervision, assist with groups - depending on shift, some basic experience or knowledge working with substance use/abuse issues in a human service capacity and some experience working in a 24-hour residential treatment setting helpful.
Qualifications:
If previously in a recovery program, applicant must have two (2) preceding years of sobriety.
Necessary requirements: good clean Utah driver’s license and driving record, pass a drug test upon offer of employment and pass a background screening that screens for criminal activity, abuse and neglect.
