Staff reporters keep the public informed by reporting on events, conducting interviews, investigating leads, gathering facts, taking photos, and telling stories.

You will be assigned stories from an editor that you will be expected to complete on a strict deadline.

Reporters are expected to write at least three stories each week that will appear in either the University Journal magazine or SUUNews.net.
Qualifications:
- Must have a 3.0 GPA.
- Should be familiar with AP Style.
- Should be familiar with Google Drive.
- Must be able to work on tight deadlines.
- Must be able to work independently as a self-starter.
- Must have taken and passed COMM 1130.
