Description:

Utah Association of Counties is seeking responsible Administrative Aide for a variety of administrative tasks on behalf of the President of the UAC. Duties to include meeting scheduling, light research, outreach to other Assn. officials, providing support of the President's Initiative through outreach and communication efforts, and other tasks supportive in nature. 1. Contacting UAC members, stakeholders, partners, and others on behalf of President 2. Interacting and aligning w UAC staff on logistical needs of President 3. Assisting w and organizing events, meetings, written materials, and promotional materials for President's Initiative 4. Provide support to UAC and the President during the two annual conferences in April and November

Qualifications:

  1. Attention to detail, initiative, and good work ethic
  2. Personable and positive with an enthusiasm for public administration work
  3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  4. General aptitude for software and technology
  5. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
  6. Excellent written communication skills, including editing and proofreading
